Instructions for your password change

On this page you can change your password for your RPTU account.
Your new password must comply with our password guidelines:

At least 12 characters long
Contain at least three out of the following four categories:
  • Lowercase letters (a b c)
  • Uppercase letters (A B C)
  • Numerics (1 2 3)
  • Special characters (~ + - : * . ! ? & @ # % ^ _ = / ( ) { })
Other special characters (e.g. ä ö ü ; § ß) are not permitted
The account name or parts of your display name (first name/surname) are not allowed to be part of your password.

Depending on the load on the systems, it may currently take
several minutes to successfully change your password.
Please do not try to change your password more than once or reload the page.
Please wait until you see a final confirmation message.


Do not forget to change your password afterward in all applications,
in which you have saved it, e.g. in your local e-mail software, in your WLAN settings (eduroam) etc.


If you have forgotten your current password or are experiencing other problems during the passwort change,
